Matthew Perry is a forth year PhD. student in Computer Science at Wright State University. He is a research assistant at the newly formed kno.e.sis center, which is part of DaytaOhio. He works with his advisor, Dr. Amit P. Sheth, in the areas of Semantic Web and Databases. His research focuses on geospatial and temporal semantic analytics. More specifically, he is researching new strategies for representing and querying spatial and temporal data on the Web which take advantage of the flexibility and extensibility of Semantic Web data models and utilize the rich thematic relationships connecting entities. He previously received a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Georgia.
