Short Biography

Julien IRIS is an engineer of University of Technology of Troyes, specialized in information systems and decision making. He is a third year PhD student at the "Ecole des Mines de Paris" in the risk management laboratory "Pôle Cindyniques. Its main research topics are in the conception and development of web-GIS solutions for the professionals concerned by natural hazard topics such as insurance or extended companies. He has developped the web-GIS platform for the french insurance community concerning the diffusion and the description of flood datasets for exposure assessment. He is specialized in designing web applications for decision making on risk problematics.
