Short Biography

You-Heng Hu is currently a PhD candidate in the School of Surveying and Spatial Information Systems at The University of New South Wales (UNSW). His research interests include Geographic information Retrieval, Location-based Services, Geographic Information Sciences and telegeoinformatics, with current projects focus on the development, evaluation and application of Geographic Information Retrieval systems. You-Heng is a recipient of the Faculty of Engineering Research Scholarship. He received his BEng in Information Control and Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University, P.R. China (1995) and Grad.Dip in Computing and Information Technology from The University of New South Wales with the specialization in Database Systems (2004).
