Short Biography

Marcel Holy is 24 years old and studies environmental sciences (dipl.) with emphasis geoinformatics at the University of Vechta. His interests are in geospatial web services, analysis procedures with the aid of Geographic Information Systems and means of remote sensing, as well as game biology. Besides his study he works as a
student assistant in different projects of the Chair of Landscape Ecology at the University of Vechta, for instance in the current German Heavy Metals in Mosses Survey, the MarGIS project or the implementation of WebGIS presences.
